‘No Thanks / Thanksgiving’ was Mattthew Day  Jackson’s antithesis to the traditional American celebration. It was an immersive evening filled with performance, food, drink, and gratitude. Working with the team at Roth Bar & Grill, he devised a delicious three course feast that champions local Somerset producers and pays tribute to the ingredients’ international origins.

Working alongside curator’s Carrie Scott and Tom Morton, the evening was punctuated with interactive experiences with artists and collaborators, including Charles Avery, DJ Paul Owen, Heather Phillipson, Laura Seymour, Anj Smith, Walter & Zoniel, Yonder, Doug Fishbone, and Somerset Cider Brandy.

Guests parted with artist objects created especially for the night, including a ceramic grappa cup by Laura Seymour and a placemat by Anj Smith.
